An independent movie filmed last year in Altoona has gone on to be featured in several film festivals. Steve Shaffer wrote a play titled “Judgment” in the 90s. Now, he has adapted the play into a new short film, “ Appealing: A dark comedy about a serious subject ” The cast includes members of the Altoona Community Theater.
