Canadian Thanksgiving weekend is about 45 earlier than in America. We are mindful that while we celebrate the blessings of God, Israel is in an all-out war with Hamas. We pray that God will deliver His elect from this brutal conflict. Tonight, we were encouraged by uplifting messages from visiting pastors from our fellowship: Brother Brinkley, Brother Antoine, and Brother Moses.

Brother Singh stresses that the Jews could not anticipate they would reject Jesus because he did not come according to their 'traditional expectations.' That grave error of the Jews contains a lesson for God's elect in the 21st Century. Let us not presume we have a handle on God—that we have all the answers—for arrogance can be our downfall.

It was a joy to have Brother Singh back in the Mississauga Assembly after his whirlwind trip to visit churches in Roselle, New Jersey, Westbury, and Elmont, New York. Despite medical advice against travel, the man of God felt it was necessary to visit these churches to "fortify their faith." We thank God he returned to us not only healthy but invigorated spiritually.
