My Camino - the podcast

I've said many times, Canadians make great pilgrims. They're sociable, fun-loving, adventurous and super-friendly. Rocco Rossi emailed me to say he'd been binge listening to the podcast in lockdown. I had no idea he had such a wonderful story to tell. Enjoy this podcast pilgrims. It's magic.

This is the second time Steffen A Pfeiffer has been on the podcast. I wanted to hear what it's like on the Camino NOW. I wondered how he and his hosts have coped with the pandemic. He provides wonderful insight and in depth analysis of pilgrimage.....love.....a journey.....and pictures.

Bob Scheidt has walked more than 125,000 miles in the last 35 years. He's walked right across America; AROUND America; and most of the native American trails as well. His is an inspirational story because he's overcome the odds to choose to live rather than waste away. His is a dream we all share.

Caroline Rutley-Frayne lost an arm and a leg in a motorcycle accident in 2008. Her husband died. Caroline has since adopted the Camino as a means to bring her life into perspective. This is a great story. I'm really proud of this interview. You're going to love it. dm

This is a great conversation about overcoming difficulties. The Camino provides. Heine walked the Camino to get perspective and it changed his life. I love his take on anxiety....feeling like there is no hope, and then finding hope. On the Camino.

Justin and Patrick have known each other since they were babies. Justin has a genetic condition that has rendered him in a wheelchair, unable to complete the simplest tasks. When he told his old friend Patrick he wanted to do the Camino, Patrick said "I'll push you". This is about love, friendship, hope and kindness.
