In every age, God has reserved to Himself a remnant to worship and serve Him. (Romans 11:4-6, Isaiah 1:9, Romans 9: 26- 27, Matthew 7:15, Jeremiah 23:3)

The lines between right and wrong; good and evil are very clear as far as God is concerned. (Psalm 11:7, Psalm 33:5, Psalm 45:7, Psalm 52:3, Heb 1:9)

Fleeing from thoughts, desires, actions and relationships that seek to ensnare, corrupt and draw us away from God. (Mark 4:18, 1 Corinthians 6:18, 2 Timothy 2:22, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5, 1 Peter 2:11, Galatians 5:19-21, James 1:14, 1 Corinthians 6:13, Hebrews 13:14)

The ways in which wealth and riches can give a false sense of security and draw us far away from God at great spiritual cost. (Mark 8:18-19)

Reflecting on one of the things that hinder me from walking in the fullness of God's glory on earth . (Mark 8:18-19, Luke 14:26-27, 33, Luke 12:23, Luke 21: 34-35, Colossians 3:1, 2 Corinthians 6:17-18, 1 John 2:15-17, Hebrews 12:1)

A commitment to shut every negative thought and imagination out of my heart and life in 2021 and focus only on Jesus, His Word and Spirit. (Ephesians 4:27 - 32)

I need to hide His Word in my heart every day and reflect on it day & night for it to influence and impact my spiritual environment. (Galatians 5:22, 6:7-10, Mark 4:29, Deuteronomy 30:15-20)

Committing myself to a daily lifestyle of inner renewal in Christ .. ( 2 Corinthians 4: 1 - 18) And learn how to trigger that daily inner renewal by keeping my gaze focused on Christ and His Word.

A short prayer and Thanksgiving for the New Year! 🛐

Ending the year with thanks to God for His mercies and kindness to ME in 2020. (Psalm 118:1, 1 Corinthians 15:57, 1 Thessalonians 1:2, Revelations 11:17)

A New Year resolution to protect my heart and life by focusing only on thoughts of peace. (Jeremiah 29:11, Proverbs 15:26, Genesis 6:5, Matthew 15:19, Phillipians 4:8)

Jesus is the light of life. I am a carrier of His Light. He needs me to be a transmitter of His Light to change the lives of other men to reduce the impact of evil forces and wickedness on earth. (John 8:12, 11:9,¹ Matthew 5:14, John 9:5, 2 Corinthians 4:4, Philippians 2:15, John 1: 1 - 13)

There are many reasons people follow Jesus. But Jesus is looking for those who followers who will deny themselves, take up their cross daily .. Those who will partake of the pain and sufferings of the cross and Christ. (Luke 9:23, John 8:12, Matthew 9:27, Matthew 14:13, 27:55, Mark 5:24, Mark 10:21, Phillipians 3:12)

Following Christ is a call to follow Him 💯. He needs to be greater and more important to me than anything and anyone else. He needs to be the No. 1 undisputed influence in my life. (Luke 14:25-35, Matthew 19: 16-30, Matthew 10:34-38)

Being sold out to Christ means NOTHING matters more than knowing, pleasing, following and being with Him. (Matthew 13:44-46, Romans 10:9-10; Hebrews 4:12)

The greatest gift of God to humanity is the life of HiS son as a saviour of the world. The Prince of Peace .. (Isaiah 9:6-7)

3 things I have learnt in 2020 - 1️⃣Don't leave your heart open to the devil and his cohorts. 2️⃣The joy of the Lord is REALLY a super power. 3️⃣ Darkness thrives in the absence of Light. (Proverbs 4:23, Nehemiah 8:10, 2 Corinthians 3:17)

Reflecting on how I can strengthen my faith and relationship and trust in God and His WoRD

God wants me to be a willing tool in His hands. To change lives and show forth His glory (Romans 6:13, 9:21 - 23, 2 Corinthians 4:6-8, Romans 12:1-2, Galatians 5:22-23)

Refreshing my understanding of my relationship with God (1 John 5:1-2, Phillipians 2:15, Romans 9:6-8, John 11:52, John 1:12-14, Romans 9:6-8)

God has numbered the hairs of my head and not one falls to the ground without His knowledge. There's no reason to doubt His love. His attention to detail in my life is 2nd to none - Matthew 10:29 - 30

Signing up for lifetime coverage under the Lord"s witness protection program on earth. (Psalm 31, Psalm 71:7, 18:30; 57:1; 9:9; 17:7, 18:30; 2 Samuel 22:3; Psalm 62:8)

Reaffirming my relationship to; Christ and the need to lift my heart to things above. (Psalm 100:3, Isaiah 43:1, 1 Corinthians 6:19-20, 1 Corinthians 3:23)

Inspired by the song Oceans (Hillsong) .. Reflecting on what it means to have borderless trust in God. And why I need to separate my relationship with Him from my natural experiences. (Matthew 14:22-33, Psalm 62:1-7, Isaiah 59:19, 2 Corinthians 12:9, Song of Solomon 6:3, Proverbs 3:5)

I need the presence of the Lord to ride upon a swift cloud and affect my physical and spiritual environment as it did with Paul & Silas and with Moses on Mount Sinai.
