Christianity is not about self actualization or personal ambitions. It's about making a shift from a self-motivated and rewarded life to a gospel and Christ-motivated life, where everything I do, own, love, attain, acquire and pursue is for the sake of Christ and the gospel. Colossians 3:2, Matthew 6:20-21

Jesus is the Risen King, God's appointed savior and the magnet that draws all men to God. The account of Him in the Bible is true. He is the Son of God. The Word made flesh. The Redeemer of our souls and soon coming King. Revelation 1:10-18, Revelation 8:4, Genesis 6: 1-8, John 14:6

I don't want to be a hypocritical believer. I want to be a true believer. Mark 16:16-17.

Jesus is far above all principality and powers and might and dominion. Ephesians 1: 21

God is not the author of confusion. His commandment to love supercedes all. Any act of violence is not sanctioned by God. And is of the devil. Domestic violence is not of God. Ephesians 5:25-33; John 10:20; 1 John 2:11; 1 Timothy 3:2-3

Praying Always in the Spirit helps God to sort out issues in my life before they become crises. Ephesians 6:12-18, Romans 8:22-26

Some may trust in horses or. Chariots but we will remember the name of our Lord Psalm 20:7

To everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven. There is a time to be silent and a time to speak. This is not a time to be silent. Ecclesiastes 3:1-8

Jesus tells us that the thief comes to steal, kill and destroy but He has come to give us abundant life John 10:10

There is an orchestrated ramping up of evil on earth; designed to steal, kill and destroy God's purpose for humanity. To institutionalize evil, oppression, idolatory and dark gratification on earth. We need to be alert and resist in faith, love and by the power of the Holy Spirit . Ephesians 6:12-18, Romans 14:17, Luke 10:18-19, Matthew 28:18-20, Revelation 12: 7-12

God is Light. In Him is no darkness at all 1 John 5

Reflecting on how much God means to me. Realizing that I cannot function without Him. Proverbs 3:5, Isaiah 40:28

I need to learn how to bridle my tongue and live my life as a unified expression of Christ Ephesians 4:29, James 3:2-6

Rededicating my life to Him to become more Christ and gospel-centred Timothy 2:20-21

Christianity is a practical lifestyle based on biblical truths and a spiritual encounter with Christ. It is a practiced faith not just something you say. 2 Timothy 2:15, 1 Timothy 4:15, Philipians 4:9, John 3:21, Romans 12:13, 2 Peter 1:10

The commandment to love our neighbor is not a suggestion. God expects me to spend my time, talent and treasure in charitable works and helping the poor and needy around me. Matthewv22: 34-40

Reminding myself of the need to be alert to resist the triggers and minefields set by the enemy. Colossians 3:2, Proverbs 4:23, 1 Peter 1:5:8, 2 Corinthians 2:11

God is my refuge and strength. He's an ever present help in time of trouble - Psalm 46:1

God makes a pathway through the wilderness. He is able to lead us out of a storm. That is His specialty. All we need to do is trust and follow Isaiah 43:19

The Lord is looking for the threads of my life. To spin it into a beautiful tapestry of His love. But only if I offer it willingly every day ..and hour 2 Thessalonians 1:12
