We need the light of God in our communities and nations now more than ever. The contention between spiritual light and darkness on earth is real. John 8:12; Matthew 5:13-16, John 1:5

Whosoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. We don't have to suffer alone Rand 10:9-13

The practice of Christianity is much more than just professing Christ Titus 2:7-14, 2 Timothy 3: 12-17, Titus 1:16,

The battle is in the mind. Trying to solve spiritual problems with physical means is fruitless. It is the Word of God that makes the difference 2 Corinthians 10:3-4

The Word of God in the Bible is wheat. Every other thing is chaff. When in doubt, centre on the eternal Word of God. Hebrews 1:3; Psalm 138:2; Jeremiah 23: 25-28; Hebrew 6:19, John 1:1-5

I am learning that I really need to intentionally bring Jesus into everything I do from a prayer perspective so that my entire life and relationships can reflect His glory John 15:5-7

Whoever wants to be great in the Kingdom of God must be the servant of others. To follow Christ is to deny self and exalt service to God and humanity Matthew 16:25; 20:25-28

The devil doesn't like resistance. Evil thrives when the righteous do nothing. We have the ability to resist and overcome evil in our land by the power of God James 4:7; Ephesians 4:7; Ephesians 6:12-18

There are 3 that witness on the earth, the Spirit, the Word and the blood. I am beginning to learn the power of the witness of the Blood of Jesus in the context of spiritual warfare. It affirms my covenant relationship with Christ and keeps me under divine protection 1 John 5: 5 - 8.

A continuation of my last reflection on what it means to be living in the world as one who has the GREATER one living in me 1 John 4:4

I am learning that there is deeper meaning to the scripture that says that greater is He that is in me than he that is in the world. I need to focus and build my faith in the power and strength of the greater one in me. 1 John 4:4; 1 John 5:8; 1 John 2:16

Learning to be content in whatever situation I find myself, knowing that ultimately the Lord will supply all my needs according to His riches in Christ Jesus Philippians 4:11-13

The Lord is speaking to me through His Word. I need to pay attention to what He is saying at this time Proverbs 4:20-27

Friendship with the world is enmity with God. It’s impossible to love God and the ways of the world at the same time. Learning to love God and live for Him alone is a daily discipline 1 John 2:15, Romans 12:2, Mark 8;36; Titus 2:11-12; 1 John 2:17

I am learning the importance of having people who are iron sharpeners around me. Those who the Lord has sent as co travelers on my journey with Him. And also learning not to give access to those who will hinder it Proverbs 27:17
