To be a Christian is to distance oneself from evil in all its manifestations - 2 Corinthians 6: 14 -18

To honor Jesus is to honor God. - John 5:19 - 23. To honor Jesus is to believe and obey His Word John 5: 24-30

It’s as important to earn Gods approval as it is to be accepted by Him in Christ. To love God is to purposefully DO the things that are pleasing in His sight Ephesians 1:3, 2 Timothy 2:15; Matthew 28:18-20

Thanking God for His love and goodness in my life. He’s a GREAT GOD! And worthy to be praised .. 54 years of grace and mercy 🙏🏾

Except the Lord watches a city, the watchman wakes up in vain. In all we do, let us bring the Lord into it, for safety is of the Lord

Christian is an active expression of faith. To be a Christian is to be a follower of the doctrine and righteousness of Christ 2 Peter 1:3-11

It’s impossible to live the Christian life as a Son of God without learning how to be led by His Spirit - Romans 8:14, John 14:16, 26; Acts 1:8; John 1:12-13

The Bible is clear about what it means to be a Christian. Holiness and Truth is non-negotiable

The Holy Spirit is the best counselor. He gives high quality advise that can be trusted and stands the test of time. Romans 8:28; John 16:13

It’s important to remember that the contention between darkness and light, good and evil is ongoing on earth. I need to activate the light of God in my life and not allow myself to be battered by the enemy James 4:7, John 10:10, Jude 1:3

Ephesians 5 makes it very clear what it means to be a Christian. We are to live a life of honor, purpose and courage. Making the most of one’s time on earth, shunning those who tolerate and enable evil. Understanding and grasping what the will of God is and exposing works of evil through personal integrity and godly character.

I’m beginning to realize that the contention between good and evil is real and present amongst us. And every Christian must work out his own salvation with fear and trembling, otherwise we will be led astray - Ephesians 5:15-16

The fact that no one has the power of tomorrow in his hands but God, makes me want to cleave to Him more. James 4:13-15

The life of a Christian is one of ups and downs. Challenges and listings. We are called to be soldiers of Christ. Trained for battle. Like all soldiers, there will be wounds of battle, disappointments and groaning as well as lifting. To follow Jesus is to endure hardness and walk His path of pain and purpose. Romans 8:28; 2 Timothy 2:3-6; Luke 16:19-31

As much as lies with you, follow peace with all men

Following Jesus means standing up and speaking for truth at all times. A Christian does not submit to evil or cover it or protect it. A Christian does not support unjust or wicked leadership. Christians support and advocate for Christian values - Romans 12:21; James 4:7;

It is wisdom to stand in the authority of the Word of God for it is the Sword of the Spirit

I need to have the humility and patience to ask God for help when I need it. To help me through the great challenges of life.

God is the one who crowns our efforts and endeavors with fruitfulness. We plant and water and He causes the growth. Without Him we can do nothing that is good, holy, righteous or glorious

The Lord said to me a few years ago that He needed my Time & Voice. And I have seen Him affirm this word in several ways since then. He is encouraging me to stay true to that path as He opens doors of ministry and impact. Im to realize that my life and ministry on earth is for a higher purpose

Everyone who walked with God in the Old Testament, and New Testament, has strength of conviction. They believe that things could be different and they were invested in making things change.

God is concerned about every little detail concerning us. Even the hair on our head is numbered. A recent experience brought this truth home to me Luke 12:6-7

The Holy Spirit is here to guide us into all the Truth. It is important to have a daily regime of listening to His counsel and writing down His words of wisdom. It keeps me protected and shielded from the deceitful lies of the enemy. John 16:13
