As FLORIDA TODAY prepares to roll out Season 2, John wanted to look back at the first season of Murder on the Space Coast.

Coming in February 2017, season two of Murder on the Space Coast takes a look at the troubling similarities of several wrongfully convicted men in Brevard County and whether justice mattered to a State Attorney’s Office bent on tallying convictions and closing out cases.

As the Murder on the Space Coast team conducts a panel discussion before a live audience, the decision is made to continue digging deeper into not only Gary Bennett’s case but troubling similarities his case shares with that of three wrongfully convicted men who are now free.

What’s next? Was justice served or is an innocent man languishing behind bars? Are there any options left at all?

Maybe police knew what they were doing all along. Terrible secrets about the suspect are revealed and they may just explain why the police seemed to have a bull’s-eye on his back from the start.
