Will we stay with Jesus when we can't see or understand? When things are unclear, will we still follow?

Jesus wants your whole life and everyone has something that costs most. It may be money, control, relationships or comfort. Are we willing to give Jesus what costs most?

Our relationship with forgiveness will determine our relationship with God and with others. God wants us to walk in the freedom of forgiveness.

To worship Jesus, we have to have familiarity with Him and reverence for Him. Without one of those, we miss out on Jesus for who He is.

Saying "yes" to Jesus might mean saying "no" to a lot of things. Following Jesus will cost you the right to have everything you want right now.

Are we following Jesus or asking Jesus to follow our expectations? Unmet expectations lead to disappointment and suffering. If we learn to surrender our expectations, we will prevent the suffering that comes along with them.

Luke's Gospel pivots on one decisive moment: Jesus sets his face towards Jerusalem. He runs toward suffering because he loves humanity. He runs toward the cross to open the path of redemption for the world. For us, following Jesus is not about perfect performance. It's about singular direction.

There is a moment when Jesus clarifies the cost. The call doesn’t change—but the stakes become clear. Faith is tested not in clarity, but in storms. Following Jesus doesn’t eliminate fear—it teaches us where to place it.

Discipleship is not addition. It's reorientation. Following Jesus means something new has begun.
