Joe and Adam apply some heavy, heavy chat to the lightweight 2011 flick written and directed by George Nolfi. Based on a Philip K Dick short story… that features a mind-reading/talking dog. The film has angels in it though, and according to egg-brained Joe is a repudiation of communism. Whatever else you say about this film, boy did it have a hat budget.

The Ang Lee directed Life of Pi wowed audiences in 2012, but how does it stand up in these cynical of times… and why did it fall into the forgot you forgot it basket?
