Mostly Nitpicking

I guess we didn't trust the fungus enough. This week Nando DJ and Diggins get all their fancy power ups and watch the movie that apparently scored the biggest opening weekend ever for an animated movie despite it being what it is, the Super Mario Bros. Movie. They nitpick the mushrooms, the turtles, and of course the needle drops.

It's Chris Pine! From the Pinocchio reference! This week, Nando DJ and Diggins go to the land of whatever and get the helmet of something so they can watch Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. They nitpick the spells, the wild shapes, and of course the portals.

Yeah. We're pretty sure he's back...again. For a fourth time. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins put on their improbably bulletproof suits to watch the action movie that puts all the rest of these to shame, John Wick: Chapter 4. They nitpick the guns, the rules, and of course the stairs.

Gods help us. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins speak the magic word and watch the movie that people are calling one of the Shazam movies, Shazam! Fury of the Gods. They nitpick the domes and the kids and of course the Skittles.

Quibi Lives! This week Nando DJ and Diggins catch a yellow cab and visit the greatest city in the world New York Citay baybee, to watch a sequel to everyone's favorite Quibi movie, Most Dangerous Game: New York. They nitpick the running, the hiding, and of course the coincidences.

It's a...kinda them? Mario? This week Nando DJ and Diggins get sucked down a pipe or something into New York City but covered with even more fungus than the regular New York City to watch the movie that almost signlehandedly destroyed a genre for a couple decades, Super Mario Bros. They nitpick the dinosaurs, the princesses, and of course the plumbing.

We're almost certain this movie exists. This week Nando DJ and Diggins travel to Izmer to watch the original Dungeons & Dragons movie that everyone forgot about, Dungeons & Dragons. They nitpick the dungeons, the dragons, and of course the Snails.

Look out for the little guy. Or maybe wait til the little guy goes to Disney+. This week Nando DJ and Diggins are sucked into the Quantum Realm and forced by Kang to watch the movie that made Kevin Feige go uh oh, Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania. They nitpick the family, the goo, and of course the MODOK.

That's right. A My Hero Academia movie from 2018. That can only mean one thing. Movie debt! This week Nando DJ and Diggins get on their big frog men and jump over to watch the movie that was suggested by Nic after they donated to a charity thing, My Hero Academia: Two Heroes. They nitpick the quirks, the villains, and of course the Godzilla.

Man. Dad. Sky. Rain. Fall. Land. Shoot. Bang. Pow. Fly. Safe. Good. This week Nando, DJ, and Diggins are dragged in chains to watch the movie that will no doubt spawn another franchise that will get three regular movies then a bunch of direct to VODs and then maybe a reboot in twenty years, Plane. They nitpick the captians, the guns, and of course the plane.  

Magnifico! This week Nando DJ and Diggins make one last fishing trip up to Forks to see the X-Men and their dogs fight the Death Eaters by watching The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Part 2. They nitpick the powers, the rules, and of course the dads.

And you thought you didn't like Jacob before... This week, Nando DJ and Diggins enter the Twilight endgame and watch the movie that certainly feels like a bridge to the finale, Breaking Dawn – Part 1. They nitpick the powers, the wedding, and of course the imprinting.

Who is your favorite Shrekless hero? This week Nando DJ and Diggins journey through the Valley of Incineration, over Undertaker Ridge, and through the Cave of Lost Souls to watch the movie that definitely shouldn't have been released the same week as Avatar 2, Puss in Boots: The Last Wish. They nitpick the cats, the wolves, and of course the bears.

She is Titanium. This week, Nando DJ and Diggins fall headfirst into 2023 with the best dancing killer toy robot movie in the last few years, M3GAN. They nitpick the songs, the cops, and of course the Teslas.

Not the Elton John one. The jetpack man. This week, by listener request, Nando DJ and Diggins travel back to the time after Batman but before The Mummy where Hollywood had almost figured out what to do with both superheroes and action serial throwbacks, to watch the movie that is that, The Rocketeer. They nitpick the flying, the fighting, and of course the Nazis.

It's 2023! And as is tradition, Nando DJ and Diggins get together to look over last year's predictions, decide what 2022 was really all about, and make some more predictions about 2023.

Whether you asked for it or not. This week Nando DJ and Diggins return to the three dimensional moon of Pandora and watch the movie that James Cameron has been dreaming about for the last two decades, Avatar: The Way of Water. They nitpick the Na'vi, the people, and of course the whales.

We didn't sign up for this. This week, Nando DJ and Diggins travel to the far off moon of Pandora to check back on the Na'vi before they go swimming and watch the highest grossing movie of all time for now, 2009's Avatar. They nitpick the soldiers, the trees, and of course the ponytails.

We're halfway there! This week Nando DJ and Diggins return to the shirtless woods of the Pacific Northwest to watch a movie that certainly is the middle one, Eclipse. They nitpick the powers, the love triangles, and of course the Confederate Army.

The movie event of the year is upon us. We're watching Willow! This week Nando DJ and Diggins take a sled down the mountains of Tir Asleen to watch the movie sensation that is sweeping the nation, 1988's Willow. They nitpick the magic, the trolls, and of course the wet old ladies.

Special shows are hard to find. This week Nando and Diggins (DJ was disappeared by a robot) talk about the best television show of the year, Andor. They nitpick the droids, the cops, and of course the Syril.

Namor money, Namor problems. This week Nando DJ and Diggins swim down a bunch of jetstreams to watch the movie that some are calling the best and only movie with underwater blue people of 2022, Black Panther: Wakanda Forever. They nitpick the plans, the fish, and of course the Namor.

The tooth hurts. As an artifact of Rocktober, Nando DJ and Diggins skate on over to watch the movie that absolutely nobody asked them to watch, The Tooth Fairy. They nitpick the hockey, the wings, and of course the breaking and entering.

Heroes don't do podcasts. We do. This week Nando DJ and Diggins fly to Kahndaq to witness the event fifteen years in the making, Atom Smasher eating some fried chicken. Also they watch Black Adam. They nitpick the history, the villains, and of course the skateboarding.

Rocktober continues. Dead Vernians, this week, Nando DJ and Diggins travel to the far off land of Palau to rescue a certain podcast guest from this week's Rockstravaganza, Journey 2: The Mysterious Island. They nitpick the books, the maps, and of course the island.
