Mostly Nitpicking

Can you feel the meh tonight ?   This week  Nando  and DJ are jumping on the backs of some ostriches and riding into the  photo realistic but unexciting future that is The Lion King 2019.   They nitpick the mouths, the food chain, and honestly they spend like half an hour talking about the Cats trailer.  

Behold! The Ninth Wonder of the World! As in, I wonder what Disney's plan was here? This week Nando and DJ get on a train and travel to a very non specific time period to watch the live action Dumbo remake. They nitpick the elephants, the theme parks, and of course What Year Is It?!

It's The Commuter meets Groundhogs Day meets Rick and Morty. And in spite of that awful pitch, it's pretty good.  This week, Nando and DJ re-enter the multiverse and nitpick the original Jake Gyllenhaal multiverse movie (if you don't count Donnie Darko), 2011's Source Code. They nitpick the Source Code management, the pizza delivery, and of course the stand up comedy. 

The world needs the next Iron Man. ... I mean, that's clearly either Black Panther or Doctor Strange. Or War Machine. Or Pepper. Or Harley, the kid from Iron Man 3. Ahhhh screw it. The toys are back in town! For a fourth time! And it's good! This week Nando and DJ round up all their favorite toys to ignore most of them and go on a fun Woddy-centric adventure in Toy Story 4. They nitpick the skunks, the inner voices, and of course what a toy is.

♪ Here come the Men in Black / Another average sequel / Don't watch this Men in Black / It's just a car commercial ♪ This week, Nando and DJ put on the last suit they'll ever wear and watch the last Men in Black movies they'll ever watch (hopefully), Men in Black: International. They nitpick the new technology, the aliens, and of course the sleek new Lexus 2020 RC F.

THE COAT IS BACK, BABY! This week, Nando and DJ take off their cool suits, put on some boring suits, and watch the final movie (not counting New Mutants, which will 100% certainly be released) in the Fox X-Men saga, Dark Phoenix. They nitpick the powers, and the spaceships, and of course the F-bombs.

We let them fight. Now it's time to join the fight. *giggles* Just kidding guys. They're going to fight. There's nothing we can do. This week, Nando and DJ take a trip to the secret ice fortress and watch what feels like it really should be the fifth movie in this cinematic universe, Godzilla: King of the Monsters. They nitpick the nukes, the Earth, and of course  Fenway Park.

Prince Ali! Average is he! Shouldn't have bothered!   This week, Nando and DJ take a magic carpet ride to the magical land of Agrabah and talk about the latest in what will almost certainly be a long line of Disney remakes, Aladdin. They nitpick the evil plans, the singing, and of course Genie rules.

He's back. Again. Again. This week, Nando and DJ saddle up for the action movie that is not only the best action movie but also has the longest title, John Wick Chapter 3 - Parabellum. They nitpick the coins, the switchboards, and of course the libraries.

All good things must come to an end. And then whatever we're calling seasons five through season eight must come to an end too. This week on After After The Thrones, Nando, DJ, and Diggins talk about the difficult finale of Game of Thrones, The Iron Thrones. They try to make sense of the lords, the King, and the new small council.

Well...the cinematography was good. This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins get together to burn down the penultimate episode of Game of Thrones, The Bells. They talk about the Scorpions, the character undevelopment, and of course Euron. 

It wants to be the very best (video game movie) like no one ever was. And it is. Partially because it's pretty good and partially by default. This week Nando and DJ follow the line of Bulbasaurs to the first video game movie that isn't pointless, Detective Pikachu. They nitpick the Pokemon, the evil schemes, and of course the hats.

Dark Phoenix is coming out in a few weeks, so let's revisit the movie that paved the way for X-Men movies that bungle the Dark Phoenix storyline. This week Nando and DJ squeeze into their ill fitting 2000's leather battle suits and rewatch the movie that unraveled all of the good will the X-Men movies had amassed up until that point, X-Men: The Last Stand. They nitpick the powers, the new mutants,...

And you thought you hated Euron before. This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins look at the good, the bad, and the not petting Ghost from this week's Game of Thrones.

...sigh. This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins, try to make sense of the third episode of season eight, The Long Night. They talk about the non-existent plans, the plot armor, and of course whatever Bran was doing.

Whatever it takes. Even if what it takes is roughly two and a half hours.  This week, Nando and DJ reassemble to nitpick the cinematic event of our generation, Avengers: Endgame. They use the nitpicks you tweeted us to talk about the plan, the time travel, and of course the Pym Particles.

Man those crypts, huh? Pretty safe. Yup. This week, Nando, DJ, and Diggins discuss episode two of season eight of Game of Thrones, A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms. They talk about Arya's big night, the plan, and of course the impossibly safe crypts. They sure are safe. Those crypts. Safe. They also go through their personal death pools.

We're about to be in the end game, so let's look back at the...beginning and middle game? This week, Nando and DJ assemble some of their best questions nitpick the pre-Endgame Marvel Cinematic Universe. They talk about the Infinity Stones, the forgotten inventions, and of course the panther god.

Guys. The actual tagline for this movie is: "When The World Needed Superheroes, We Got What We Deserved." I really hope this isn't what we deserve. And boy do I need some superheroes right now. This week, Nando and DJ go through hell and back to watch a movie that we will undoubtedly all forget about in a week, 2019's Hellboy. They nitpick the trees, the swords, and the unbelievably poor CGI.
