What if there was a 'blue wave' in November? If we could actually move a little closer to agreeing that people are more important than money, perhaps we could do a little better job of distributing resources in the economy.

Humans are shifting away from familial aristocracies, and currently follow the lead of economic aristocrats. Perhaps in the future we could build an aristocracy based on professional behavior. If we could agree on common standards for behavior, and gave a distinct status to people who uphold those standards, maybe that would be a little bit better.
