Labour has come out with its bid to increase grocery competition, force the duopoly to run their wholesale arms independently from retail. The party says it'll make it easier for new supermarkets to set up and bring grocery prices down. But National - which wants to split up Foodstuffs, says the idea has already been passed off as too risky. Political reporter Giles Dexter reports.

Petrol prices have ballooned since the start of the month, with the 91 unleaded now costing an average $3.30, according to price comparison app Gaspy.
