Proverbs 17:3 says; “The refining pot is for silver and the furnace for gold, / But the LORD tests the hearts.” I love an old saying I learned in Bible college... "The testing before the blessing." Even in the refining process God wants us to be a blessing and encouragement to others.

Rise and shine today for Jesus. Let you light so shine before men that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven. (Matt. 5:14–16) By calling believers to arise and shine, God is reminding us that we have the ability to shine in this dark world because of His indwelling Spirit.

In today's episode I share a story about my life verse from the Bible, Acts 20:22-24. Moving forward can be challenging at times but moving forward in God's will is what we need to do. Be encouraged today in any "moving forward" situations you're facing.

Jesus gave His followers wise advice when He said in Matthew 16:10 - “Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves." The days we're living in are challenging. Let's follow this truth today.

In today's episode I share some passages where some of God's strongest people pour out their complaint to God. God wants you to be honest with Him. He wants you to speak your mind and heart. If you are angry or upset about a situation express your feelings. Share your grief and your concerns. Get them out of your mind and into prayer. Trust the outcome to Him.

Joseph experienced some challenges in his life, but God was with him, and grew him into the man God called him to be. Be faithful today even in the difficulties and trials you face.
