Morning Manna

Do you every need a pep talk? I'm so greatful for those who God has used to encourage me in my life and ministry. God gave Joshua a great pep talk in Joshua chapter one... "Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go." Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

I love the YouVersion app! My current reading plan is reading a chapter in Proverbs each day for 30 days. Yesterday I read Proverbs 15 and was amazed by how much it said about the mouth and words. Listen and see what God may say to you in Proverbs 15.

Job 14:14 says this... “If a man dies, shall he live again?” Let's talk about this big question on today's Morning Manna.

Deuteronomy 33:26–27 says this... “There is none like God of Jeshurun, who rides through the heavens to your help, through the skies in His majesty. Untiy is so very important. One of the hardest things in life is to get along with others. We are all different, and we will have our own opinions. Also, disagreements and disapproval of what others do may cause strife. Psalm 133:1 says this...  "Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity!” 

Psalm 30:5 says this... For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning. Let's talk about this on today's Morning Manna.

I love the saying... "God is good all the time and all the time God is good." Nahum 1:7 says this... “The LORD is good, a stronghold in the day of trouble; and He knows those who trust in Him.” This critical truth is life changing. Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Are you and I bearing our Cross today. Listen to what Jesus said in Luke 14:27: “And whoever does not bear his cross and come after Me cannot be My disciple.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Have you ever sang the blues... you know those sad depressing songs. Job experienced that himself. Job 30:31: “My harp is turned to mourning, and my flute to the voice of those who weep.” Rather than focusing on the challenges... report for duty and see how God will use you, and when you do that... when you come back to your challenges... they will be lighter.

Job experienced some powerful struggles but he pressed on. Job 1:22 says... “In all this Job did not sin nor charge God with wrong.” Let's talk about it on today's Morning Manna.

Be encouraged with this reading of Psalm 102. Whatever your challenges and struggles are, He is there for you today. Trust Him and lean onto His strength and mercy.

Psalm 107:2: “Let the redeemed of the LORD say so, whom He has redeemed from the hand of the enemy,” Today is Thanksgiving Day in the US. As you gather together with family and friends, take the opportunity to say so. Share your gratefulness for His blessings and His salvation. Happy Thanksgiving!

As we approach Thanksgiving Day, lean into this powerful passage of scripture and live out the big three. 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 - Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, in everything give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.
