Updated sermon series (2.25.20). This lesson discusses how the Passover is connected with the plagues of Egypt, Yahweh's Sovereignty in all things, the free will of man, the greatness of Moses, and the plundering of the Egyptians.

This lesson continues to evaluate Matthew Vines (an openly "gay" professing Christian) lecture given in 2012. In this lesson I deal with the paradigm that exists in the minds of many concerning the Jerusalem council in Acts 15.

Is homosexuality compatible with the Biblical faith? Some professing Christians believe that it is, but at the same time they recognize that the laws written in Leviticus are prohibitions against homosexuality. How do they respond when hearing Leviticus quoted?

This lesson focuses in on some writings from two ancient Israelite historians, Philo and Josephus. These historians are important because they lived around the time of Yeshua and they relate to us the timing of the Hebrew festivals.

This lesson focuses on understanding how the ancients determined what we now call the spring and fall equinoxes. I focus upon a Hebrew word TEKUFAH, a word that is used in Hebrew Scripture and extra-biblical material to speak of specific turning point in the heavens.

How do we go about determining when the first month of the year is on Yahweh's calendar? Do the Scriptures even hint at telling us?

This lesson begins an exegesis of Isaiah 53 which actually starts at Isaiah 52:13. What are some of the aspects of this servant of Yahweh? A few key sections in this lesson deal with the severe beating of Yeshua as well as the physical appearance of Yeshua.

One of the major objections given by the anti-messiah or anti-missionary crowd is that Yeshua could not be a sacrifice because Yahweh condemns human sacrifice. How would you answer this objection?

In general we all have a tendency to forget about the unique, spiritual people that Yahweh has placed in our life. This lesson challenges us to seek to reverse that general principle and honor "prophets" in our hometown or family.

The common modern day Jewish understanding is that the Jewish people as a whole are the suffering servant of Isaiah 53. Why do they believe this? What should our response be to those who adopt this view?

It is incorrect to think that every Christian who gets sick or dies of an illness is living in sin. Sometimes it is Yahweh's will that a person remain ill for His glory and greater purpose. Those who die in Christ have a hope of resurrection. They may have suffered in this present life, but they will experience immortality in the life to come.

Some people have studied their way right out of believing in Yeshua as the Messiah, Son of Yahweh. They instead say that they abide by only the Tanak or Old Testament. A major problem with this mentality is that the Tanak presents a second person, in addition to Father Yahweh, that we must believe in for our very salvation.

There is only one account in all of the gospels that teaches us anything about Yeshua's childhood. Here we find that Yahweh orchestrated an occurrence to help remind Miriam that she and Joseph were raising not just any other child, but rather the Son of the Highest.

While Joseph and Miriam were at Jerusalem to present Yeshua to Yahweh, Yahweh provided two witnesses in Israel of the promised Messiah. These witnesses were both righteous and devout, and they confirmed that great things were in store for this little baby boy.
