Over the last 20 years, Acts 10 has been the #1 objection I've heard in attempt to overturn the dietary laws in Leviticus 11. If this text doesn't do that, what does it mean? 

So many people quote the modern Bible versions in Mark 7:19 to teach that Yeshua declared that what Yahweh said was unclean was now clean. If this isn't true, what is actually taking place in this account?

We live in a world where sexual immorality is praised. We might think this is something new, but Paul's admonition to the Ephesians, and the backdrop of Ephesian culture shows that it's been going on for a long time. Christ followers are to be different. 

This lesson begins answering some of the objections Christians give to observing the dietary laws. Did the dietary laws originate at the time of Moses? Was Noah and his family allowed to eat every living thing without qualifications?

If we are serious about following Yahweh's instructions in diet, we need to consider what we are cooking and eating out of, as well as what ingredients might be placed into certain items we buy.

Yahweh doesn't only command to not eat certain animals, He also commands not to eat parts of the clean animals. This lesson takes a look at the prohibitions in scripture against eating fat and blood.

As children of Yahweh we are called to imitate Yahweh. One of the primary attributes the Apostle Paul exhorts us to have is love. We are to be forgiving, and compassionate, and loving, just like Yahweh.

In light of what Yahweh has done for us, we ought to walk as new creatures. This means that our former way of life is to be put off, and a new way of life is to be put on.

Galatians 3:26-27 // It's not about you. It's about the Messiah. You are a child of Abraham, and more importantly a child of Yahweh through faith. When you were baptized into Messiah, you put on the Messiah. You're a new creature. Salvation is based on you being a different creature than you are in the natural. No one is saved based upon the natural or physical.

Galatians 3:24-25 // Prior to the coming of the Messiah, the law acted as a Guardian to the people of Israel, leading them like children to the arrival of their promised Messiah. Once that faith came, their was a spiritual adulthood that wasn't there before. The same holds true in our individual lives.

Galatians 3:23 // Paul says "Before faith came, we were kept in custody under the law." Did faith not exist prior to the New Testament? And what does it mean that the law keeps us in custody? Does the law imprison us?

Since we've been saved by grace, by the power of Yahweh, how then should we live? This lesson begins to look at how we ought to act as children of the King.

Galatians 3:19b-22 // Why does Paul mention angels, a mediator, and the fact that Yahweh is one, right in the middle of his argument in Galatians 3? Listen to learn how grace is the x-factor in your spiritual life.

Galatians 3:19 // This lesson continues to answer the question "Why the law?" I also deal with the phrase "until the Seed to whom the promise was made would come." If the law was until the Seed, doesn't that mean it ceases once the Seed arrives?

Galatians 3:19a // If the inheritance, salvation, forgiveness, etc. is not by the law (but by the promise of Yahweh), why was the law given? And what law is Paul talking about in this text?
