What a fight between Dustin Poirier and Islam Makhachev at UFC 302 last night. It no doubt saved the card because virtually nothing else really delivered especially that co-main between Costa and Strickland. Dustin Poirier is a legend and if this is really it, what a better end to a career than putting on an incredible performance like that.

Just had a great win in the UFC or another MMA organization? The crowd's eating out of your hand? Well why not take the opportunity to setup your next big payday? In these cases though, pretty everyone though these callouts went waaaay outside the bounds of reality. It's unfortunate when the reaction is laughter instead of hype.

You would think a fighter's worst injuries come from... well you know the sport considering it's MMA, but in these cases, all of the injuries are for a completely different reason and yeah... they are all dumb reasons in the most hilarious ways imaginable.
