As we look forward to celebrating the birth of Jesus this Christmas, we begin by looking at the hope Jesus brought into the world. The hope that sheds light into dark places and brings salvation to the world.

Idolatry in the Bible is often connected to worshipping a golden cow or other symbolic object. For this reason many of us may not consider this to be a modern issue. Idolatry is however a very real struggle for us today. When we put our hope in anything other than Jesus we are putting something else where only He belongs.
