Paul closes his letter to the Galatians with some practical advice on restoring a fellow believer caught in sin with humility and gentleness. We all know that even after acknowledging Jesus as our saving king we still have the capacity to give in to our desire to sin. Paul warns us that by feeding our flesh, we're robbing ourselves of the fruit that comes from the spirit. But if we learn to put our desire to sin to death, we will see the spirit produce good fruit in us.

Today we celebrate the resurrection of our saving king Jesus. Jesus' death, burial, and resurrection offers us freedom from slavery to sin and death. Since we've been set free, let's live in that freedom!

We believe Jesus is the son of God. We also believe that by putting our faith in Jesus as our saving king we also put on His life as our own. Paul makes it clear in Galatians that if this is true, then we have become sons and daughters of God, and as such, heirs to the kingdom of heaven.
