Jesus concludes the sermon on the mount with a parable about two builders. He says if you are wise, you will build your house on a rock by doing what you are hearing me teach. What does it look like for us to live out the commandments of Jesus in his sermon today and be wise builders?

In Jesus' announcement of the Kingdom of God He wants to make sure that everyone knows the economy looks a little different here. In this kingdom we don't hoard for ourselves but give for the benefit of everyone. We do not value the momentary things of this world over the eternal impact that stewarding those things for the benefit of all can lead to.
