How should I write up these angular lines? Using 8va marks keeps things close to the staff and avoids the use of ledger lines, but it doesn't really 'look like it sounds', does it? This is the soundscape I always associate with Maui. Doves having a conversation at 5AM. We never veer off Seattle time, so the dawn chorus greets us every morning, first invading dreams then waking to realize you are in this beautiful place. Link to the post.

A restaurant called Monkey Pod - the voices of tourists and the high hat seemed to be playing off each other at the time, maybe it was the Mai Tais. Ableton drew some of the speech AND some of the high hat into a John-French-ish beat. Link to the post.
