We passed inspection and did a weekend of back-rending chores. Poor Mikey caught the worst of it. Love that Wond - haven't broken it out enough lately, but now that I've got tags and playlists for those tags, I am revisiting everything I've been doing with it. Trying to be spontaneous today, I cleared my head, hit record and captured some passages, going where the hands led me. I sampled these to the ep-133, learned how to tweak em, getting the worklfow down quick. Link to the post.

Another function of these tape pause pieces is to distill the soundworld of a recording while taking it completely out of the original, especially rhythmically.
