The California National Guard is getting certified to deliver it's CERFP team by military air so they can respond to incidents in Alaska and Hawaii. The cargo must have six inches clearance from the C-17 wall and has load limitations. North Dakota National Guardsmen are purifying water at 3 locations throughout the Minot area to provide local hospitals with clean, safe water as the city recovers from recent flooding.

Hoosier military families received gifts from the Indiana Pacers, Indiana Fever and JAKKS Pacific toy company in an event called Christmas in July.
