God designed work with rhythm that reflects His character. He does not distinguish between the secular and the sacred, all things are sacred to him and that includes our work life.

The spiritual legacy that you leave for your children and your children's children is the greatest inheritance that they can build on. We stand on the shoulders of those who have gone before. Ananias displayed a sensitivity to the voice of God that is imperative to living out our faith daily.

Like a boxer in the bout of his life, the believer is in a fight to the finish. Understanding the expectation of that end is what keeps the believer encouraged to look up, suit up, and build up until the return of our Lord.

The tactics that the devil uses to keep people in bondage are many. One of these tactics is to focus on individual deeds rather than on the motivations and desires that would lead to sin and bondage. As an overcomer our identity is found in the finished work of Christ and not by what we do, who affirms us, or what we acquire or possess. It is for freedom that Christ set us free.

Everyone suffers loss in life. Whether the loss of a job, a dream, or a loved one the way that we grieve can either heal or destroy. The way that you grieve is a choice. Overcoming the pain of loss is a daily task where we learn to mourn rather than moan, and recount rather than deny.

The Holy Spirit is the helper of man. He is the person of God with us, guiding us into the truth of God's promise for the believer. His role is similar to that of a coach who aids us in overcoming the adversities of life.

Why does God allow suffering? It's a question asked by our society and culture. The root of that question comes through knowing our fallen nature. His creation doesn't suffer from a design flaw, but from a choice flaw. The Overcomer must learn to know what God's design is for His creation and come into alignment with His will.

Everyone is subject to temptation. Being tempted doesn't make you an evil person, but it reveals the area of weakness that draws us closer to the One who equips us to overcome temptation. Expecting temptation, examining the triggers, equipping ourselves with the tools, and experiencing victory are the keys to tackling temptation in your life.

We are called to live an overcoming life. Despite our circumstances or situations, we can thrive and live a life of purpose.

More than Mediocre don't measure success solely on quantitative measures, but on the qualitative measure of being a prophetic voice and proactively meeting needs.

Whether in relationships or in vocations, going the extra mile will make a difference in our interactions. More than Mediocre people have an "And Then Some" view of life.

More than mediocre people determine to live and model joyful, reasonable, worry free, peaceable, and prayerful lives.

More than mediocre people seek to live selflessly, live humbly, and love sacrificially.

Have you settled for average. Are you at a point of throwing up your arms and giving up on something or someone? In this message, we are reminded that God has called us to a journey of determined pursuit. Its not time to give in or give up. Its time to press on and move to your high calling.

We all have a relationship or two that have soured or have become awkward. In Paul's letter to Philemon, he addresses the issue of Onesimus and Philemon's relationship and gives several keys to deal with awkward relationships. God's desire is that we don't allow what one person has done to us to affect how you interact with others. He wants us to live with a clear conscience.

The Devil uses circumstances and people to remind you of your inadequacy and sin. His instruments of choice are depression, oppression, consumption, and presumption. The beauty of the Gospel is that while the Devil knows your name but calls you by your sin, Christ forgives your sin as He calls you by name. Zaccheus experienced the transforming power of repentance and forgiveness.

The gospel compels us to examine our motives and propensity to base our decisions on how we can benefit from position and power. God calls us to humility. His desire is not that we think less of ourselves, or that we think more of ourselves. His desire is that we think rightly of ourselves. In Luke 14 Jesus addresses this conflict using three parables at the table of the Chief Pharisee.
