Bob came into the program after a run in with some other 12 step programs. His sponsor told him that he needed to make amends to himself for the weight he carried his whole life. He came into OA at 340 pounds, and over the years his recovery hasn't been perfect, but he's kept coming back to carry the message and is now maintaining close to a normal body weight.
