Pastor Chris commences our summer series of Study - Proverbs: Wisdom for Life. Today’s teaching is entitled, “The Way of Wisdom,” and is taken from Proverbs 1:1-7, through which we learn that wisdom trains us in discipline, provides us healthy relational ways and is to be meditated upon to gain everything it can offer us.

Pastor Chris brings a devotional teaching born of his recent time in Ecclesiastes and Philippians. In this teaching, entitled “Growing Towards Contentment,” Chris shares of how recent disappointments fostered a crucial moment of recognized need for growth and maturity in his life.

We had the privilege of hosting musical guests Chris and Steph, who together go by the name Out of the Dust. They have a remarkable story of love, faith, love lost, faith lost, love found, faith rediscovered and God’s deep work of healing and restoration. This week we continue our study of the book of Romans with a teaching entitled, “The Backstory of the Gospel.” We will be guided by the Apostle Paul back to the story of Abraham in Genesis, in order to discover that God’s actions on behalf of humanity have always been characterized by grace and faithfulness and that our participation in the story of God has always been on the basis of faith.
