This time we're some kind of super sentai Saiyan with a very similar deck to the force ghost and the protagonist with the shit hair. Almost like he's the two of them fused together or something. Dry strategy, silly voices, a doctor that sounds a bit like Meatwad.

So I had a whole idea where I'd play Yu-Gi-Oh and voice everything in a dumb Yu-Gi-Oh way. Instead I kind of end up ranting about my favourite card set. Also audio is poor because I did a field recording using my Bluetooth headphones.

River City taking that whole "it's a beat em up RPG" thing to heart. It's a River City game but with the vague trappings of a Dragonquest.

I do a decent run as the Japan team, by which I mostly mean Benimaru because I don't actually think I know how to use Goro, and Kyo is a whiner. Quiet whispers with the occasional crash as I bump into things in the real world. Team psycho soldier are apparently my kryptonite and I'm also bad at games don't you know!

Okay so this one starts pretty okay but steadily turns a bit shit. One seems to be a pretty interesting game that doesn't work on a fundamental level for me, the other is fucking rough around the edges to the point where I don't think I understand how to play it. Either way I manage to be a very unsuccessful pirate.

I suspect it's due to it being the first Dungeon but I wasn't particularly impressed with the pirate cave. Just felt a bit nothing. You take what you've been doing the rest of the game and you remove the exploration and silly dialogue...

Might ramble a bit, did this one straight after the Comix Zone episode and apparently I last longer on the mean streets of Blackpool.

So it's an episode of visiting exciting new places and performing silly voices in them. Also I guess we hit some actual plot.

So Red Earth was an arcade only fighting game sort of RPG dealie... A few years ago it was released on the Capcom Fighting Game Collection. It is very fun. This time I played as Tessa, a witch who fights with the aid of her various pets.

Contains flatulence and a nappy change.

While taking a pre-appraisal breather I play the entire GG Aleste series of Game Gear Shmups. The one developed in 2020 is the best one, surprising nobody I'm sure.

I actually get to a battle, although I still didn't know how it really works. One of those actual complicated games apparently.

Still doing all the jobby jobber jobs at what still feels like the very start of the game. I fight lizard people, gargoyles, trees, wolves, my own inability to read a map and the urge to sleep after too many interrupted nights.

Back on PS3 mech games. This one is made primarily for online play so obviously I'm playing it ten years too late. Also I'm not good at it.

Oh dear this one is long. I should perhaps consider fewer episodes that are actually produced... But then when would I play videogames? So I mostly rant incoherently about One Piece and being an aging anime fan in general. To the point where for the last twenty minutes I'm not even playing the game. So doing the usual "kill X number of creatures" sort of thing, hence just doing bits and pieces over my first day or so with the game. Slightly worried it will be thoroughly boring, also I need to find a good thing to go between entries.
