We're finally getting to the end of a game I stopped doing recordings for because I was losing steam. Listen as I start proper enthusiastic and steadily lose steam.

So I'm just really bad at this game. I dunno, sometimes I'm pretty good at shmups but I just absolutely sucked at this particular number. The presentation is great, I like what I heard of the music and saw of the graphics, but I only got to experience them for little snippets at a time.

The Fatal Fury I wanted to play wasn't working with the capture so I played one I hadn't played before. It's incredibly aggressive to the point I'm not sure if I accidentally set it up wrong.

Apparently this is just my lunch break now. We beat up the hooded dorks, get a new quest even though I'm not sure I've finished the old quests, and teach the wolf to magic. Also I make two sandwiches.

I've started playing Romancing Saga. Tangentially this is Bill's fault.

I muddle through the tutorial and a few races of this very good game. I'm utter dogshit but I want to play... perhaps a bit less in the middle of the night.

It was already on so of course I had to play some BlazBlue, it's like the best fighting game that isn't Darkstalkers... I mean it's basically Darkstalkers right? Anyway I've never played as Kagura so I'm a complete mess until the last few fights where I'm only a bit of a mess. It's fiiiine.

... I don't have a water cooler to talk around so you have to listen to this instead as my own parasocial relationship! Validate my opinions on playfighting dammit!

More from the night of surprise liesure time. I did me an art of fighting, which has utterly beautiful animation and a slow but pleasant game feel. Good time.

So apparently I'm just really bad at this game, but look at that presentation! The Red Dragon character is just Muta, it's brilliant if you like the period in Japanese or WCW wrestling. Probably turn down the difficulty next time though...

So I was considering playing something like Oblivion since I had some time to myself, but then I was just feeling a bit tired in general so I did what I always do and played an arcade game instead. Battle Circuit is quite new to me but I enjoy any fighting game with fun special moves, I stuck with the same character throughout because I didn't want to lose upgrades... because this game has rea...

I have to multitask so I'm going to natter while spending far too long on a basic database amendment instead of taking a proper break and doing an AOLP.

I can't remember the names of two of the characters I picked, but I had a fun time not knowing what the hell I was doing. Just really excellent game feel on this one.

Bit worried I'm not on my game for this one, I mean I enjoy the shit out of the game but I don't think I'm that exciting in general when I play fighting games instead of RPGs. Anyway I play arcade as Jon Talbain and then a bit as Bishamon because I'm waiting until the next Knightmare record to be actually entertaining.

Another lunch break game session. I have Bloody Roar on the brain and the second one is my favourite. So you can listen to me lose a pretty good survival mode streak, and then do Shina's story mode. I also break off periodically to eat delicious Curried Cauliflower Cheese Pie (the real CCCP). It's also really good.

So I play Metal Slug X for a bit (about a third of the game to be fair) and then natter about Wrestlemania while working. To summarise, Metal Slug X is the best one, Wrestlemania XL was very good and I'm genuinely optimistic about the WWE right now.

Join me if you will as I speak absolute bollocks under the guise of an Audio Only Let's Play of Castlevania Legends on Gameboy (not one of the good ones) I had egg lump sandwiches, and enjoyed a Belmont who could climb ropes but not fall next to a rope. Really lovely art, kind of awful sprites, and everything that isn't fun about Castlevania. Despite being a series I quite like but rarely finish.
