Just a little recording while I drove between places doing some shopping. I was trying out a new recorder setup in my old green truck. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! My friend's Krazy Wabbit Show and his 12 days of "Irksmas".

I had a bit of nostalgia today driving around town in Traverse City and the Cherryland Mall (now called Cherryland Center and nearly empty). It's amazing the things you remember about things so long ago. Also, I talk about some nostalgia about podcasting. When it was a hobby and a form of therapy for a lot of people. I'm sure it still is for some, but sometimes I see the all the business end of it...

Fall is in the air around Traverse City these days, but the trees are not turning color just yet.  Looking forward to being done with house projects and getting settled in for winter. 2:23 A random place in my show Check out my episode with Evo Terra on Podcast Help Desk this week.  (episode 110)    

Yet another test, but with more info :) 

I flipped on the mic for an update for the summer.  We are getting rain after 3 weeks of hot dry weather. I went to Podcast Movement, The U. P. of Michigan.  An old truck update and more about house updates.  

Happy Birthday to my sister Angie! Was a HOT weekend in TC.  The Air Show weekend was good, just a quick before-work update.    

I got a new toy in the studio.  A Denon DN-300R digital recorder deck.  Now I can record WITHOUT the computer in the studio. Also, I updated our renovation projects and other things going on in Traverse City.    

I thought I lost my portable recorder,  Then found it and thought I broke it and now it works.  Go figure  :) Just a quick update from Northern Michigan.    

I update my tobacco free status (3+ Weeks) and talk about Facebook, YouTube and whatnot. Just remember, no matter what other place I am at, I'm always going to be right here on MikeDell.com Also, Do you know of any other "Personal Journal" type podcasts like this one? I used to listen to a lot of them, but I sort of think this may be a dying art form. Let me know mike@mikedell.com Recording today...

I've been addicted Tobacco in various forms for the last (wow! long time) years... I am finally going tobacco-free totally starting in a few days. Wish me luck!

Had my own personal tech bubble burst.  Ended up with a new iPhone 8+, A new Router (the old one was 11 years old!) and just now found out my compressor/Limiter/Gate is 1/2 dead.    Oh well. I moved the studio back down to the Office in the basement and recorded this using the PR40 mic instead of the headset I've been using for a while.  Let me know what you think of the sound.  

Well, I made it!  300 episodes.  I was a bit under the weather so I didn't do the episode on New Years.  I was sleeping trying to get rid of a cold or blowing and shoveling snow. I'm not going to write a lot of show notes for this one.   Just listen to it for a few surprises.  :) Here is to another 300!

It's still snowing. This is getting OLD already. Plus I have a cold. Grumpy short episode.

Almost sounds like I'm phoning it in. This short episode is from my Airpods as the Microphone on my Mac. Don't think I will use them for producing podcasts, but they are great at listening to podcasts.

The weather is BRUTAL here... Was 5 degrees and windy on Christmas and yesterday. It's up to a whopping 11 degrees (F) and sunny today. Heat wave.

From a hotel room in Dublin Ohio, where I'm down here showing my face at the Blubrry offices, I just ramble a bit about this and that. Nothing to write home about but it was fun to setup the mobile gear in the hotel room anyway. :)

I talk a little too much about mailboxes and snow ;) Just an update on the way to 300 episodes.

A mini political rant on my part. Also, found some old voiceovers that were done my friend Jim Farley back in 2008 or so. Fun stuff. On my way to Episode 300 on Jan 1st 2018.

Just read about a 25 year old that was killed in his driveway because someone went off the road an hit him. Slow down people! Winter is the time to relax, take it slow, read a book and above all, don't get in a hurry on the roads. You, and those around you, will live to tell about it. As I recorded this at 10:20pm, it is 55-ish degrees outside. Very warm for this time of year this far north. I was able to do my leaf blowing yesterday and I should have been blowing snow. Well, I did it! This year is the first time in several attempts to finish NaPodPoMo and this year I did it! Thanks for hanging in there and listening to me babble on. Today I talk about a lot of things that happened because of me starting this podcast. Catch me later! I'm taking a few days off.
