The Millers were surprised to see how beautiful their yard looked, and the girls were equally surprised to find out that Angie Waller was the Miller's granddaughter. Their first good deed was a huge success, and everyone who helped had shown the importance of being good neighbors.

Kayla was worried because The Mustard Seeds were late. However, her worry soon turned to joy when she saw Morgan's surprise. Moms, Dads, sisters, and one big brother had all come to help. In Chapter 3, we met Angie Waller, a little girl who is not only nosey, but also rude. She wants to know the Mustard Seeds' secret and promises them she will find out what it is. However, the girls of the club are determined to keep Angie out of Mustard Seeds' business.

The girls of the Mustard Seeds Club are all set to make plans for their first good deed. While they hope to keep their club a secret, a girl named Angie Waller believes she has heard something she wasn't supposed to hear. The girls are annoyed. However, they continue with their plan which now includes staying away from Angie.

The Mustard Seeds are faced with realizing that finding a good deed to do may not be so easy. However, once they decide that caring for a neighbors' yard is the best thing to do, they begin to wonder if in fact, they will be able to meet the challenge.
