After His arrest at Gethsemane, Jesus is brought before the priests for a trial. The council charges Jesus with blasphemy and sentence Him to death. During this trial, we learn how much of a sham Jesus’ arrest and trial is. But even then in the midst of injustice, God executes justice the priests could not foresee.

Summary: In life, there are many interruptions that disrupt our original plans. Everyone is going through their own issues; and, God is at work in each of them. We explore some extents of how God works through the lives of Jairus, Jairus’ daughter, and a bleeding woman.

Judas’ betrayal towards Jesus was no accident. It was one overlooked temptation, undetected weakness, and unexpected opportunity after another. When we entertain the wrong thoughts, we become vulnerable to sin. If you have blown it, do not believe the lies of the enemy. Run to Jesus all the harder. Do not delay.

All people are prone to wander from God. We must address our pride in such a way that it does not bring us further away. And yet, even if we may fail Jesus in this process, take heart in that Jesus will never fail You.

Jesus gives us a preview of what the end times would be like. Although no one on earth may have a full grasp of what it would be like, we can know truths that will bring comfort to the believer. We must be prepared when He does come. Those who are not saved are not ready for when that time comes. We must all be ready. Trust in Jesus.
