People will often say that the church isn't a building, it's a people. Yes and no. In this passage Paul writes that the church, metaphorically and spiritually speaking, is a building. John 4:1-29 We are taking a one week break from our series on I Corinthians and dropping on John 4 where Jesus encounters a woman with a past. In this encounter Jesus reminds us of who He came for and what He came to do.

In this text Paul returns to the topic of jealousy and strife taking place in the Corinthian church. The cause for these issues was people in the church walking according to the flesh and thinking like mere humans. The cure?
