I've always loved this song and want to thank my Patchouli Brothers Kevin Mauch and Mike Noel for helping out on the recording. Mike did his tracks in his home studio and sent the files to the Bunker to be mixed. Kevin and I did our tracks in the Bunker as usual.

My old music Brother, Cliff Gracey. We wrote this song way back in 1973 or4. Still sounds good to me. Cliff was an amazing talent. He crossed over unexpectedly today. I'm heartbroken. Rest In Peace Brother.

If I were stuck on an Island and could only have five albums J.D. Souther's Black Rose would be one of them. Linda Ronstadt had a hit with this song. I wore the album out in the mid 70's.
