Jay is put to the test in Skullcrushers and we count down the Top 5 Albums We Didn’t Hear Until after Year-End. We end with what we have been listening to since last time.

In Episode 69 we bring 2017 to a close with our Top 25 Metal Albums of the Year. We are joined by Matt and TR and a ridiculous amount of beer. The results aren’t too hard to guess, but a good time was had by all. The episode concludes with a brief tribute to Warrel Dane.

In Episode 66 Andreas and Jani of Perihelion Ship return to talk about their new album, To Paint A Bird Of Fire. After discussing the new album they hang out and help with all the regular podcast segments. In honor of Jani we share our top 5 keyboard players. George and John go to Shadow Woods Fest in the middle-of-nowhere-Maryland.

In Episode 65 we are joined by Blake and Sean of Lyceum. They stick around for the whole episode and help out with News, New Releases and all the usual segments. We embarrass ourselves with our Top 5 Non-Metal Artists, and George has to answer questions about Metallica. John interviews Uhtcearu during their show at Atlas Brew Works and then reports in from ProgPower XVIII in Atlanta.

George, Chris, Matt and Eric head to Germany for the 2017 Wacken Festival. The largest heavy metal festival in the world. The guys are joined by special guest Sergiy from Catatonic Society.
