Scripture: Acts 10:9-16 | Matthew 9:9-13.  On Sunday our message taught us how to live a more fulfilling life by refocusing your priorities, relationships, attitude, and legacy.  We looked at relationships and invite you to join or recommit to a Community Group at messiah in this new year.

Today's Scripture: Daniel 12:1-4 | Luke 2:36 -40.   The new year is made for new beginnings.  Messiah is here to help you with your resolutions for personal and spiritual growth in our six week series.  "ReFocus: Your 20/20 Vision."

When life doesn't go our way we often respond with anger, doubt, or disappointment, and the Christmas season can intensify these emotions. But through the story of the first Christmas, we see God bringing hope in difficult circumstances.  The love of God and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus bring hope to everyone.

The Christmas celebration began over 2000 years ago when the Creator of heaven and earth stepped into His creation - as a baby!  He did this because He loves you and wants to restore His relationship with you.  Truly this is good news of great joy!  Our pray is that you will be filled with true HOPE and PEACE today as we are reminded that Christmas changes everything.

Scripture for today's message: Luke 2:8-15 and Corinthians 1:26 -28.  The love of God and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus bring hope to everyone.  As the angel said to the shepherds when he announced Jesus birth in Luke 2:10: "I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people."  The Gospel is a message that truly brings HOPE for Everyone!

Scripture: Matthew 1:18 -25 | Isaiah 7:11 -14.  The love of God and the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus bring hope to everyone.  Through Joseph's story in today's message, hear how to face fear in your life and do the right thing.

In today's message, we hear how to stay hopeful when your circumstances in life are not what you'd thought they'd be, and not at all what you envisioned for yourself.  There is HOPE when your plans are disrupted if you trust that God has everything under control.

God's goodness is all around our neighborhood, but it's up to us to seek it and find it.  When we do, we have a reason to give thanksgiving every day!  Proverbs 15:13 -17 and Luke 17:11 -19.
