Why do we struggle to worship God, and how do we worship God well? Peter continues the Romans series by outlining five reasons people struggle to worship, then considering Paul's example of worship in his Romans doxology. This sermon encourages us to contemplate God, and to worship from the overflow of minds transformed by the gospel.

Crossing the aisle to engage with culturally different people is bound to get messy. In this talk Peter assures us that mess is ok. God can cope with our mess. We can also prepare ourselves for mess. In this sermon Beck reminds us of our opportunity to accept God's invitation either to repent & turn back to God or to celebrate over those who do repent. The church, as the family of God, are invited to go with the good shepherd into unknown territory in order to bring back the lost. Prayerfulness, training, remembrance and the serious cultivation of joy are ways to accept that invitation.
