Mercy Hill

In Acts 11, disciples of Jesus who fled persecution in Jerusalem, share the good news of Jesus with people in a city called Antioch. This is groundbreaking! Now the good news of Jesus is spreading to non-Jews far outside of Jerusalem. Listen in as we see how God uses unexpected ways to further his kingdom.

The beginning of the book of Acts is a whirlwind. While a crowd of people are in town for a festival called Pentecost, the Holy Spirit begins to work and the group of disciples grows from 120 to over 3000 in a single day . What do you do when your church grows that drastically? Luke records for us exactly what the first church did in Acts 2:42-47.
