A Day Late Update on the Sub-Internship Late nights of long call and early mornings= sleep deprived and tired. This 3rd week of this audition rotation is all about mastering the efficiency, maximizing the number of patients on the service, and providing the most help to the interns. 

SUB-I Week 2: Why Are You Still Here? Long nights with residents who don’t want to see a med student suffer lead to an endless string of people asking why are you there so late. The Sub-Internship has kicked into full gear and we’re trying to expand the work. Let’s hope we don’t suck. 

Away Rotation in NE Georgia Karen has the week off as Eric starts a 4 week away rotation in NE Georgia. We go over the rotation format and first thoughts. Additionally, Eric talks about the work that is going into reviewing and selecting residency programs they will be applying to. 

Step 2CK Scores Released Race to the Electives Sorry for the Delay episode covers the step 2 CK result and our preparation for electives. From ERAS to the supplemental score we are trying to sort out which programs to apply to. 

Eve of Step 2 Score – Preparing for Electives Step 2 CK score is released after this podcast gets released. We discuss the list of activities we are doing to prepare for 4th year electives and to distract ourselves from the impending score. Fingers crossed we get good news.
