You don't need the next NEW thing, you need the only TRUE thing! Jesus wants to rescue us from this evil world, but rescuing us from the evil in the world doesn't mean we're taken OUT of it -- we're just no longer enslaved to it. You can please people or you can please God -- you just can't do both. It's impossible to live for Christ and live for the approval of people at the same time.
