Today is a short but powerful Bible Study session that is relevant to everyone.  Pride has a way of sneaking up on any one of us at any time.  God hates pride because of one very important reason.  

Waiting seems to be very difficult, especially if God has spoken a word into our lives! There are times, like with Abraham and King David, where God gave them a promise but it seemed like He wasn't going to fulfill it or He had forgotten.  God wants you to focus on Him, not the promise. He's getting you ready for that promise. Remember, He's got this.

Many times we will look at part of a verse and jump for joy that God has HUGE blessing headed our way!  However, we sometimes don't take the time to look a little further into the text to understand that God has some terms and conditions on that Blessing.  There is something that God is requiring of us before He will fulfill that #blessing.

Many times we tend to minimize what we consider is a temptation.  Matt and I discuss how Jesus dealt with Satan and temptations.

God is always switching up the way He provides, we need to keep our eyes focused on Him when He does this. Sometimes He has to get us to desperate situations so that we will jump at an opportunity that we might normally say no to. Many times that opportunity turns out to be the pathway to our Promised Land!

There are things in our life that will happen that we do not understand.  The world is full of wicked people who will commit injustices against other people.  God wants us to know that He sees everything and He wants us to know that God will repay all of those injustices if we will let it go.

This is an uplifting word about how God can provide greatly when we trust Him with the results.
