Was in the ’90s when Marcelo Vinhas gave his first steps in the electronic music scene in the underground hollows of Porto Alegre (State of Rio Grande do Sul). Immersed on local vinyl stores, he found himself as a DJ. Not long after, he was commanding pick-ups in the main nightclubs of Bagé (Rio Grande do Sul), your hometown. And from then his love for music has only grown. Between 1996 e 2002 he was moving the dance floor of Bagé’s nightlife scenario and from 2003 he extended to other cities in the Rio Grande do Sul, until 2010. In 2008, he created a DJ course to foment even more the local music scene. Moved to Florianópolis in the state of Santa Catarina in 2010 to conceive “Groove Up”, a project created with the talented Felipe Sosa (DJ, Producer and percussionist) resulting in a series of dual presentations until 2013 when decides to move to the capital Porto Alegre, engaging with the DJ’s brotherhood and Syndicate of Rio Grande do Sul.
