It's hoped they'll reduce after therapists achieve higher qualification. CBT has had one of the longest waiting lists for a number of years, but it's hoped the waiting times are now going down for this type of therapy and for the service in general.  In April 2023 71% of people on the CBT waiting list had been waiting three months or more but by April this year that had reduced to 50%. ...

Sarah Vondy, who is studying public health, conducted a survey with 568 women aged between 45-55 about dealing with menopause in the workplace. She found more women employed in the corporate sector felt support as opposed to women in government roles.  Miss Vondy also believes there's still a misconception around menopause which some labelling it "a taboo".
