We're kicking off 2020 with another movie from costume designer Eugenie Bafaloukos (Mad Love), Reality Bites. Mz. Winona Ryder, a fyne young Ethan Hawke, Janeane Garofalo, Steve Zahn, and Ben Stiller give us loads of '90s post-college style to review. We could dedicate an entire show to Janeane's Peter Pan collar dresses!

Ending Drewcember with The Wedding Singer! One of our favorite costume designers, the marvelous Mona May, beautifully balanced everything from '80s pop-culture inspired costumes to looks that we want to replicate today. Drewcember and our 50th episode, you know we had to do Charlie's Angels! Costume designer Joseph G. Aulisi decked our 3 favorite PI's in individual styles that complimented each other perfectly and created once of the most fashionable ask kicking trio's we've ever seen!

Drewcember continues with one of Gotham's most memorable henchwomen, Sugar! Ingrid Ferrin dressed Drew in lace, thigh high stockings, feathers, and a little shimmer as her role of bae to the "sweet" side of Two-Face. Happy DREWcember! To kick off the month long celebration of boss babe Drew Barrymore we're starting with her directorial debut! Costume designer Catherine Marie Thomas brought the kick-ass looks together while Drew (she also acts in movie) found a way to make derby heartwarming.

We're in agreement that this film has it all. Theadora Van Runkle was the costume designer responsible for taking risks with Phyllis Nefler's over the top '80s Rodeo Drive socialite fashion and creating looks we're still talking about 30 years later! We've found our official FishnetFlix mascot film and it's Troop Beverly Hills!

Was Boomerang the first rom-com with an all black cast and crew? We know it has a phenomenal soundtrack and all of the looks  ​that costume designer ​ Francine Jamison-Tanchuck created were  très magnifique ​!​ ​  *Strangé voice* ​ ​ Boomerang is not only worth the watch but worth the $ of a purchase/rental. 

Costume  ​d esigner Deborah Everton (The Craft, Halloween H20) took Richard Nixon/ the Watergate scandal and made it fashion. We're knocking down Kirsten Dunst flix  ​ and  ​this week we're ​ talking about  ​DICK and ​ Marie's love for the dead stock clothing palace, Hullaballoo ​.​

This week we're joined by one of our super talented friends Mz Rachel Sanoff (@sanoffdahook) to discuss one of her favorite flix, Drop Dead Gorgeous, which we discover is chock-full of great Halloween costume options thanks to costume designer Mimi Melgaard. ​ ​

Hood chic has always been chic and Mi Vida Loca put on for barrio culture and fashion in film. Susan L. Bertram laced this love story about friendship with authentic Echo Park style...before the gentrification. Ya know! 

We couldn't get enough of costume designer Denise Wingate (Cruel Intentions) so we decided have some fun this week with The Sweetest Thing, an under appreciated comedic classic filled with friendship and DIQ starring Cameron Diaz, Christina Applegate,Selma Blair, Thomas Jane, and Jason Bateman as a problematic bro/BFF

We decided to press play on Empire Records for this week flick. We're rocking with this classic that inspired many '90s kids looks thanks to Susan Lyall (200 Cigarettes) and her ability to communicate each character's artsy angst via clothing.

Another Ruth E. Carter film with looks that scream camp. We're celebrating our fave Black American Princesses from Decatur and talking about everything from the use of vibrant colors to Kim Kimble hair.

Cruel Intentions is celebrating 20 years of "Marcia f**king Brady of the Upper East Side" looks that are to die for. For the platinum anniversary we're diving into costume designer Denise Wingate's glam goals extravaganza!

Our friend, and brilliant writer, Alyssa Morin is our first guest for a very special film we all love and that she has a deep personal connection with. Costume designer Elisabetta Beraldo used original fabrics and designs from the Queen of Tejano music to properly pay tribute to those iconic looks that left an imprint on the culture. We ♡ Selena Quintanilla, now and forever. 

Costume designers Monique Prudhomme and David C. Robinson showed Disney Channel fans what dreams are made of with the Lizzie McGuire Movie. Travel with us to Rome circa 2003 while we break down Hilary Duff's double performance. 

Time for the bar dancing, NYC, early 2000's (maybe musical) Coyote Ugly! From under boob tops to leather flare's, Marlene Stewart dressed this bar squad like a TRL cowgirl-group.
