This episode is one of those really great episodes that we burn through super quickly then end up talking about the universe of Star Trek and this episodes ripple affect and what lead to it way more than the episode itself. We get a little heated on this episode - but not at each other (we're both too dope for that) - at the periphery fandom that completely misunderstands the point of Star Trek. But we also get some great discussion in on this amazing episode and it's ramifications throughout the rest of Trek history! Jeff marvels at how good this episode actually is while Josh continuously chastises him for ever having doubted him. In this weeks episode we're joined by good friend and gooder drunk boy Kevin Cole! We discuss how much this episode spoils the entirety of DS9 - SERIOUSLY IT SPOILS EVERYTHING THIS IS PRETTY MUCH A DS9 RETROSPECTIVE and also talk about the meaning behind the symbolism in this particular episode. We barely talk about Romulans. This episode is part 3 of The Romulan Collection Send us an e-mail at mc...

Now that we've picked our way through all the grimiest garbage that the franchise has to offer we turn our sights towards one of the best episodes it has to offer - Balance of Terror from The Original Series. We discuss the highlights and nitpick the problems in just the way you've come to expect us to but eventually get down to the very heart of the issue at hand - how amazing of an actor Mark Le...

It's a feel-good episode here on M-Class E-Mails where we hear how much everyone loves us, talk about how much we love everyone else, and seriously enrage at least one of you listeners by going on several tirades about representation and equality in Star Trek. We really just couldn't talk about Threshold for a full hour so we spend a big portion of this episode ranting and raving about how the conceit of the episode, transwarp, makes absolutely no sense in the contest of the Star Trek universe and then we give up and answer some of your e-mails. Sorry about that last episode, you bunch of fools, but we're bouncing back with an actual discussion where one of us has watched the entire episode and the other is haunted by memories of really awkward forced assault scenes and cringey 'commentary' on what it's like to be a lady. Buckle up boys and girls because we're diving headlong into the worst episodes of Star Trek from each series.
