Even in the midst of many signs, we won’t know what day the Lord will come. Speaking to His disciples near the end of His ministry, Jesus placed the emphasis of the topic not so much on when the end times will come, but on how we live within them.

Near the end of His ministry, Jesus shared with His disciples that He would return someday. His challenge was to keep watch, not living focused on what’s fleeting, but instead living with the end in mind—Jesus will return as the King and Lord of all.

When you trust in Jesus, what's true of him becomes true of you. I am not going to try harder. I am going to surrender more deeply. Out of my trust and surrender, I will "make every effort".

Leverage this: Become too small to fail. God moves little by little Victory is not one huge thing that makes you undefeated, it is the small things continually repeated. Shrink your goals to accomplish great things:  Choose Carefully  Spell it out specifically   Track it diligently  Guard it aggressively

Time is not on your side Future you is an exaggerated version of the current you If you don't like what you are getting, change what you are doing Ongoing consistency is much more important than short-term intensity

Don’t settle for a busy life; live a full life. Mind your own busyness    Wake up to Jesus’ offer  Establish a rhythm    Live in authentic community 

Jesus is your wonderful counselor—listen to him    Jesus is your Mighty God—trust him and his victory        Jesus is your Everlasting father—embrace him    Jesus is your Prince of Peace—rest in him
