Lost In Blockbuster

Our final episode in our special lockdown podcsat series Bubble Boyz. We held off releasing this episode in the wake of all the protests and escalating police violence. While we here at LIB love this movie, we stand firm on the belief that all cops are bastards.

With quarantine maybe coming to an end...we talk about the future of America, the future of the podcast, and for a very few minutes, we talk about this unfortunate movie.

The thrilling conclusion to a beloved film. Our favorite part is when it ended.

This is the one that everyone cares about. Spoiler alert, we didn't care for it. The episode is split into two parts because recording was accidentally paused when trying to clean a smudge on the spacebar. Quarantine has not been easy...but it's easier than watching Donnie Darko.

Jake Gyllenhal was in City Slickers? You bet your rootin tootin ass he was. For about 5 minutes. Appearing in his first role ever, he plays Billy Crystal's son. We get into some politics, some more Michael Jackson fan bashing, and then we pull the next movie out of the Gyllenhat which is Donnie Darko.

All is fair in love and war. The love is Love & Other Drugs, our movie this week featuring a love story between charmster Jake Gyllenhaal and Anne Hathaway. The war, is what our podcast is declaring on Michael Jackson and his fans. This episode is fire emoji.

We're back and we're in the Halloween spirit! It's another 10 episodes (and our 50th!) so we are doing another movie we weren't supposed to see as kids and this one we really weren't supposed to see. We are joined by our good friend Patricia to talk about Skeet Skeet Ulrich, Shaggy the Serial Killer, and we rank government jobs' impact vs social workers. It's a scream baby!

It's MORPHIN TIME! The boys are back to talk about Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie. We talk about our mid air catchphrases, the death of Trini on 9/11, the bounty on the white ranger, Ooze your daddy, and we talk about the "Inclusive Rangers".

Yabba-Dabba-Doo! After a brief hiatus, the boys are back to talk about the Flintstones. However, the movie is terrible and we build the Tim Allen cinematic universe. It brings together Home Improvement, Last Man Standing, The Santa Clause, but then we also bring in the Jingle All the Way universe, as well as Men in Black. Tim Allen 2020 everybody!

Leave it to us to talk about the 1997 (or 1957?) movie Leave it to Beaver. A true classic for both Sam and Matan and it leads us to topics such as White Lion King, Erik Von Detten's AIDS, Brink 2: Life on the Edge, the "Judy" of our class, and Tim Allen for President 2020: Home Improve America Again.
