New year, same us. Lonely Arts Club brings in 2021 in style; wearing designer jackets to Aldi, getting crushed by cats and waiting on sex arses.

You there; what day is it?! Why it’s podcasting day, sir! Damn straight. So deck the halls and grab yule log with both hands, because the gang are back in town for a special Christmas minisode.

A couple of weeks before the second Welsh lockdown we managed to get together for our 20th episode. This time we drink a load of margaritas, Ali sets fire to his local village and Veez gets an office job… sort of.

Ali and Veez manage to catch Josh while on a family holiday in the Lake District. This week the gang discuss musicians adopting the role of content creators, toxic productivity and Veez drops Charlie Simpson in it. That’s drill.

After sinking a bottle of wine, the gang starts peeling back the layers on some classic kids TV shows. We learn about ducks, Ancient Rome and what happens to Veez when he’s really tired.

Ali, Josh and Veez return to discuss storytelling and sex dolls. Ali gets yelled at, Veez brings along his loop pedal and we learn what Josh’s inner voice sounds like.

As a treat for Veez’ birthday, the boys embark on a quest to uncover some true crime stories from within and around the creative industry... sort of. So pull up a pew and gather round the campfire for something rather special indeed.

It’s another episode from lockdown and the boys are joined by long-time friend and expert pizza-handler David Sykes (Creative Director, Fearlessly Frank). Personal Art vs Corporate Art is a big topic today along with some tales from the past.

This week, Lonely Arts Club is joined (virtually) by Presenter, Actor and Comedy Writer Louise Schofield. Also, we discuss interviewing on the red carpet, some odd PR stunts and the gang learns how to flirt with the camera.

It’s 420, so celebrate in style with the gang. This week, Ali serves the most dangerous milkshake ever made, Veez tells us his tales of working in a retail store while Josh breaks good.

Well, well, well! Creative Producer and all-round good guy George Bergel joins the club this week to discuss the ins and outs of life as a producer. Also, Veez brings his ukulele, Ali demands a Grammy and George bribes the police. It’s all going on this Easter!

Director and Producer Chris Britten joins the club this week to delve into the world of music documentaries, Mexican wrestlers and spandex. Also, Josh recounts shit hitting the fan, Veez defends his love for Tarantino and Ali shuts everyone down.
