February 21, 2025. God sets the solitary in families. The Bible shows how sons should treat their fathers. Isaac trusted his Father enough not to fight when he was about to sacrifice him. God saw that it was not good for Adam to be alone.

February 19, 2025. Jesus demonstrates that He is the Son of God. The Pharisees went about inventing things about the Sabbath. The Sabbath of the Lord.

February 16, 2025 pm. Job only heard about the Lord. Ezekiel fell face down when he saw the Lord. John fell down as dead. Our prayer is that our children and grandchildren would see the Lord.

February 16, 2025. Esau’s family line. The 10 sections of Genesis. The biological vs. Spiritual family. Jesus did not say family is number one. The Joseph and Judah section.

Church should be a place we’re happy to go to. We carry each others burdens. Rattle your heart to see what church really is. When we come to church we lift people up.

February 9, 2025 pm. Set aside time for prayer and stick to that time. Be watchful and thankful. If you don’t know what to pray, ask the Lord to help you.

February 9, 2025. The promise to Jacob’s offspring is growing. The Lord introduces himself as God Almighty. This is what God does, God comes down. He wants to make you fruitful.

Calamities draw you to the Lord. He relates to us in his humanity. God is the only one who can wipe our accounts clean. Your words and your actions are important.

February 2, 2025 pm. We tend to think there are only two options. We see that prayer made a difference. Each of these people prayed for the Lord to unleash a might act.

February 2, 2025. Bethel was a place of momentous events. Jacob probably got into a situation of urgent need by not paying attention to his neediness. Don’t let your non-neediness fool you.

January 29,2025. Each of us needs revitalization. Don’t neglect what the Lord has done for you. Make the most of every opportunity you have to meet with Christ.

January 26, 2025 pm. The challenge of fear, uncertainty and doubt. Context is everything. Elijah’s heroic deeds are each followed by a valley. Communication with our Father is two ways.

January 26, 2025. Jacob worked very hard in his life. A relationship with God is not about playing a mental game. Judgment is coming, get ready for that judgment.

Our identity is what we do. Our whole christian walk is turning to the Lord. Jehovah God forgives through Jesus. Public, big spectacle, big deliverance.

January 19, 2025. Jacob is on the run again. Jacob experienced injustice from Laban. We need to work towards reconciliation, not cease fire. The cross brings us to a place where God lays his weapon down.

Darkness is sin waiting for you at the door.  The light exposes us before Jesus Christ. We can’t work so hard that we forget who we’re working for. Remember, Repent and Recover.

January 12, 2025 pm. Jesus is saying don’t seek after worldly possessions. You can take something that has only value in this life and use it for something that has value for eternity. What we pray about is important to the Lord.

January 12, 2024. Wealth is something that the covenant man is blessed with. Jacob credited God for his riches. The riches God wants to bring to you are an eternal inheritance.

January 8, 2025. The concept of the image of God is lost in society. We as image bearers are to spread God’s love around the world. Jesus will forever be in the form of man.

January 5, 2025 pm. Praise awaits our Father in Heaven. Prayer will end that our waiting for the Lord. People were excited to go into the temple.

January 5, 2024. Jacob’s home was in great turmoil and confusion. Confusion is inevitable in this world. God takes the foolish things of this world and turns it into a blessing.

anuary 1, 2025. Paul’s goal was to strengthen the churches. Paul and Barnabas in Acts compared with Jesus and Peter in Luke. Pray that the church would be strengthened.

December 29 2024 pm. He will never leave you or forsake you. Jesus and Peter walking on the water. Keep coming to him.

December 29, 2024. The parallels and contrasts of Isaac and Jacob. The Biblical preference for the younger child. Choosing Gods customs over the customs of the ungodly. God chooses those nobody else wants.

December 22, 2024 pm. This may be the greatest moment of crisis in the Bible. The very promises of God are on the line. God proves He will be faithful to His promises.
